Dalton Georgia's First Masjid
This building located at 843 McAfee in Dalton Ga. served as the American Legion for the African American Soldiers. It was purchased in 1992 to serve as the Islamic Center/Masjid for the Muslims. The following pages are pictures showing the renovations of the building. The Muslims in Dalton worshipped in this Masjid until 2008. The Islamic community relocated in 2008 to it's current location 2054 Dug Gap Rd. Dalton Ga.
