Falling on your face means to prostrate yourself before the Lord. Muslims put their face to the earth praising the Lord at least seventeen times a day saying, glory be to my Lord the most high, glory be to my Lord the most high, glory be to my Lord the most high.
God says in the Quran; And be steadfast in prayer; Practice regular charity; And bow down your heads With those who bow down (in worship) Quran 2:43
